The program supervisor will work closely with the Executive Director to provide a leadership role at the school age site. As a team member, he/she will adhere to the program policies, ensure the health and safety of children is maintained at all times, work with the team to provide a safe and inviting environment for children, staff and families.
The program supervisor will work on the floor as part of ratios.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: staff and program management, schedule preparation, grocery shopping.
Rotating shifts/ split shifts
Eligible Candidates Must be available to work during all of the school closures such as Spring Break, Summer Break, Winter Break and In-service days; would be mandatory.
Early Childhood Educator level ll or lll
At least 2 years experience as supervisor or a team leader in a Child Care setting.
3-5 years experience in the child care profession as a leader
Current Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
First Aid Certificate level C
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and initiative
Creative problem-solving skills
Understand the ELCC regulations and be able to apply them.
Have a current and clear criminal record check and child abuse registry with vulnerable sector search.
Understand labour standards act.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Respectful and polite when dealing with people; and being able to appropriately deal with people in difficult situations.
Flexible and fair.

Job Description O.K. Before & After School Child Care Centres Inc. (located in the Maples) is seeking a Site Manager to join their committed and professional team.
O.K. Before & After is a multi-site early learning & child care program which exists to provide licensed, quality child care for Kindergarten children to 12 years.
The Site Manager must be classified as an ECE II/III with a current First Aid/CPR certificate. The successful candidate will be subject to a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector as well as a Child Abuse Registry Check.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess strong child development knowledge and be able to educate staff about fundamental developmental practice;
- Motivate staff, act as a leader and professional role model;
Experience in play based programming; 
- Support and work effectively with families;
- Possess excellent communication and written skills;
- Be able to take initiative and work both independently as well as part of a team;
- Strong knowledge of Best Practices licensing regulations and human resources procedures;
Advocate on behalf of early learning & child care
Experience working respectfully with diverse populations
